Draw kanji to searchYou can now draw kanji directly in the dictionary search! Just switch to the drawing input and write the character. KanjiKen will recognize your strokes and find matching entries. Great for when you spot a kanji in the wild and aren’t sure how to type it.

Stroke orderGlyph lookup pages now show stroke order animations for kanji and kana. You can see exactly how each character is written, stroke by stroke. Very handy when you’re learning to write a new character.

Feature request pageWant to suggest something for a future update? There’s now a dedicated feature request page in the app. Head to settings and let us know what you’d like to see next!

Redesigned settings pageThe settings page has been redesigned to make it easier to navigate. Everything is still there, just cleaner and better organized. You’ll also find some new options in there, so it’s worth a look!
Bug fixes• Fixed “show less” button in dictionary entry Definition section not doing anything
• Fixed “Learn Status” sometimes being cut off on Android
